Blue Cat Studios is a multidisciplinary design and design-build studio led by Lauren and Kyle Riley-Hawkins. Combining expertise in architecture, interior design, environmental graphics, fabrication, and construction, the studio delivers projects from concept through completion.

Lauren Riley-Hawkins
Founder + Creative Director
Lauren founded Blue Cat Studios in 2022 after seven years in commercial architectural interior design, bringing together her backgrounds in fine art, architecture, and the built environment. Her work spans interior design, environmental graphics, murals, and experiential design, exploring how art, storytelling, and the built environment can foster human connection, spark curiosity, and create lasting value for people and communities.

As Creative Director, Lauren leads every project from concept through completion, personally designing and bringing each environment to life through fabrication, installation, and mural painting.
Kyle serves as Director of Construction for Blue Cat Build, leading fabrication, installation, and field operations for projects of every scale. With a background in commercial construction and hands-on project execution, he specializes in coordinating complex installations, solving challenges in the field, and ensuring every project is delivered with precision and craftsmanship.

Working closely alongside the design team, Kyle oversees construction from mobilization through final completion, bridging the gap between design intent and built reality.
